How to find us
Ladeddie Barns is near St Andrews, the Home of Golf, in Fife, Scotland. Most
of our guests have their own or a hire-car, but we can arrange collection
and deposit to/from Leuchars or Cupar railway stations, or St Andrews town
centre on request.
- By Air - Edinburgh airport is about 45 miles south of us.
Glasgow Airport is about 80 miles to the west. If arriving by air,
take a hire car from the airport and follow "By Car" directions
below (but note special instructions if using an in-car Satnav system).
- By Rail - The nearest railway station is Cupar, Fife (only
4 miles away), but all services stop at Leuchars Junction (8 miles).
For transport from Leuchars see "By Bus" below.
- By Bus - There is no direct service bus connection to Ladeddie,
but Fife runs a special
FlexiBus service based on use of taxis (Click here for F3-service map) Call 01334 840 685
at least 1 hour before required pickup time and a "Flexibus" taxi will
meet you and convey you to Ladeddie for £4.00 per person. Note that
service can be limited during school start/end periods when taxis tend
to be busy.
- By Car - See "Directions" link above for a Google Map from which
you can printout directions from whichever starting point you select.
Note for Satnav users: Our Postcode KY15 5TX covers about a dozen
rural properties. When the Satnav reports "arrival" you will have several
rural properties in a row on your left or right hand side with open fields
on the other side (depending on direction of travel). With the properties
on your left hand side, continue uphill about 400 metres and take the right
turn at the "Ladeddie 3/4" signpost. We are 70 metres down that road on
your right hand side.
