Facilities The property has 2 rooms available for Bed and Breakfast accommodation: 1 x Twin and 1 x Double. Children are welcome and for families, a cot is available and, by arrangement, there is an additional small child's bedroom that can be made available. However, we cannot accommodate pets. Both main rooms have television; and Wireless Internet access is available throughout the property. A family-size bathroom including bath and shower is available for exclusive guest use. A secondary toilet for private guest use is also available when we have more than one room occupied. Breakfast is served in the Dining Hall and is either a traditional full Scottish or a continental-style breakfast. The Dining Table converts to a 3/4 size snooker table and younger guests are welcome to try their hand at snooker or pool! There is a small conservatory off the Dining Hall which is available for guest use and this gives access to the garden grounds which guests are free to roam. Please leave any field gates as you find them. A Fax machine is available for use, by arrangement. We have Offstreet Parking and can accommodate cars, vans, bikes or small coaches. Note that by law Smoking is not permitted in any Scottish B&B property.   Location Ladeddie Barns B&B is a large country house we built in 1991 based on a Steading conversion to create a very spacious 7 bedroom family home, including stables and stableyard (we have a thoroughbred eventer and two delightful donkeys). The property is situated in a beautiful conservation area of North East Fife with delightful views of the large garden and westwards to the Lomond hills by Falkland. We are also near St Andrews, the Home of Golf, with the famous St Andrews Championship Course, Jubilee and Eden Courses being just over 4 miles away. Down the road less than 2 miles away is the new Duke's Course and we are 5 miles from the market town of Cupar and 8 miles from Leuchars airbase (which holds the annual Leuchars RAF Air Show). Both Cupar and Leuchars are on the UK East Coast main railway line from London Kings Cross to Aberdeen. We normally only take 1 party at a time so that our guests have a private bathroom. So we are ideally situated for couples or small parties of up to 5 friends or family wanting to have a short holiday in the St Andrews area; for academic, student or parent visitors to the University; for golf enthusiasts (we offer accommodation for visitors to the annual Dunhill Cup competition and the Open Golf Competition when it is hosted in St Andrews); or for visiting businessmen wanting a quiet homely alternative to hotel accommodation. Availability Our business is open all year round, January to December. Room Enquiry Prices From £30 per person per night dependent on season. Alternative rates on request for 3 or more consecutive nights. There is a £10 supplement per night for single occupancy.
